Beaty Biodiversity Research Centre & Beaty Natural History Museum

The Beaty Biodiversity Centre houses research laboratories, as well as facilities for specialized processing and research involving a unique world class research collection of plants, fish, insects, vertebrates, fungi and fossils. The Beaty Biodiversity Centre supports research into habitat, species and ecosystems in which we live and also includes an important public education and exhibit function. The 123,000 square foot building is located on Main Mall adjacent to the Aquatic Ecosystems Research Laboratory building.
