Loon Lake Dining Hall at Malcolm Knapp Research Forest
The UBC Faculty of Forestry is replacing the aging and undersized dining hall and kitchen at the Loon Lake facility at the Malcolm Knapp Research Forest (MKRF) in Maple Ridge. The building includes a 150-seat dining hall with associated commercial kitchen, support space and washrooms. The project also includes a conversion of the existing dining hall into a dormitory building to replace staff and student accommodation lost on the proposed building site for the new dining hall.
